Beyond the Body: Healing & Emotional Resilience After Medical Trauma

Unraveling layers of complexities together, in order to guide clients towards cultivating, nurturing, and fortifying their inner resilience.
The complexity of medical trauma can impact a person from infancy to present day. For many of our clients who have traversed the various mazes of healthcare, encounters with appointments, procedures, tests, scans, surgeries, & treatments can feel daunting & endless. The echoes of feeling unseen, unheard, not believed, or uncared for resonate deeply within those who bear the scars of mistreatment & harm done by medical staff & providers. Navigating a myriad of somatic activation and emotional responses before, during, & after, our clients impacted by medical trauma find themselves entwined with sensations & thoughts of fear, unpredictability, uncertainty, and various levels of danger. Let’s unravel some layers together, in order to guide clients towards cultivating nurturing, and fortifying their inner resilience.
