Family Support Group
Are you a family member of someone who is Transgender and/or Gender Diverse?
Parents, caregivers, siblings, grandparents, spouses, significant others, aunts, uncles..this group is for you!

Join Us…
All of us have a story.
When it comes to our families, all of us need love, support, and a hopeful future. When someone in our own family shares something significant & powerful about their gender identity, this begins a time of transition for an entire family system.
For many of you, there are many feelings & thoughts all at once: fear, confusion, anger, concern, sadness, clarity, disbelief, uncertainty, acceptance, and the list can continue.
Please join in coming together monthly – a time for education, support, and community building with other family members who are also navigating similar waters.

“Storms make trees take deeper roots.”

testimonials
“When my son announced he identified as female and her pronouns were she, her and hers, we came to learn that meant we were parents of a transgender daughter. She simply wanted her outsides to match what she always felt on the inside, female.
Having no experience with this, we sought help and found Christy’s Saturday morning support group. Christy is amazing. She is empathetic, therapeutic, warm, kind, inviting, validating, supportive, knowledgeable and most of all understanding. She provides a safe place for all people whose life is changed by the transition of a loved one from one gender to another, to learn, to share, to express and to transition themselves from what was, to what is and what will be. In addition to her support group, I can imagine Christy to be a fantastic therapist if you or your loved one is in need, because of these same qualities.
I cannot say enough positive things about Christy and the other people whom we have met at her support group meetings. They have made this journey a much easier path, helping to remove feelings of fear and isolation, and replace them with support, knowledge and love.“
~ A loving Father
“We are so grateful to have met Christy soon after our trans-daughter came out to us. She has gently guided us as we have navigated the roller coaster of emotions that came with learning that our loved one is transgender. Christy is knowledgeable, insightful and empathetic, and we have benefited from seeing her for both private family counseling and also by attending her family support group meetings.”
